MENTORSHIP

LEAD Mentorship Program

Selected to serve as a mentor within the LEAD program, guiding first year students through their transition to UCF and supporting their academic, personal, and leadership growth throughout the semester. Built strong one on one relationships through consistent check ins and individualized support, helping mentees set goals, stay accountable, and navigate challenges with confidence. Created a welcoming, community centered environment by connecting students to campus resources, encouraging involvement in leadership and service opportunities, and reinforcing a growth mindset.

Planned and facilitated engaging group experiences that strengthened belonging and motivation, using creative themes and friendly competition to increase participation in events, service hours, and program activities. Communicated regularly with program leadership to track student progress and ensure expectations were met, while providing encouragement and guidance tailored to each student’s needs. Led with empathy, energy, and professionalism, aiming to make a lasting impact by helping students feel supported, seen, and empowered to succeed.
