LEAD Program – Community Service & Civic Engagement

Actively participated in community service initiatives through the LEAD program, contributing time and effort to projects focused on service, social responsibility, and community impact. Engaged in hands on volunteer work alongside peers, emphasizing teamwork, accountability, and servant leadership. These experiences strengthened my understanding of community needs, reinforced the importance of giving back, and allowed me to lead by example through consistent involvement and commitment to service.

Demonstrated initiative by encouraging participation among peers and approaching service with a positive, solutions oriented mindset. Through these opportunities, I developed a deeper appreciation for civic engagement and the role of leadership in creating meaningful, sustainable change within both campus and local communities.

Earth Optimism – Community & Environmental Engagement

Actively involved with Earth Optimism, supporting initiatives centered on environmental awareness, sustainability, and community education. Participated in events and outreach efforts aimed at promoting environmental responsibility and positive action through collaboration, creativity, and public engagement. Contributed to creating an inclusive, impact driven environment that encouraged students and community members to take part in conversations and actions surrounding environmental stewardship.

This involvement strengthened my ability to work across diverse groups, communicate purpose driven messages, and support mission focused initiatives that prioritize long term impact. Through Earth Optimism, I further developed a values based approach to leadership, emphasizing service, collaboration, and responsibility to both people and the planet.
